Even plain concrete can be beautiful

Client Need: Located at the intersection of Speer and Larimer, the University of Colorado Denver welcomed the idea of a new five story Academic Building to service students, classrooms and other academic functions. The site, in downtown Denver, required utilitarian paving which could withstand high pedestrian traffic. However, they also wanted it to match the quality and high standards of the campus architecture.

Solution: Although all of the concrete on the site is uncolored, gray concrete with standard finishes, Saunders requested to bring Colorado Hardscapes on board as the site concrete contractor to tackle the necessary attention to detail and high quality desired.

Results: Colorado Hardscapes installed over 32,000 square feet of uncolored, broom finished concrete paving, over 900 lineal feet of steps, over 500 lineal feet of form finished landscape walls, custom tree grates, and installed bike racks at the new Academic Building.
